Sea Sickness Prevention Guide

If you’re prone to motion sickness — or just want some extra peace of mind — pack these things:

Cruise selection: Book a newer ship. Modern ship technology keeps improving and does an amazing job at reducing motion so guests feel little to no movement.

Cabin selection: Choose a mid-ship, lower-deck cabin if you're sensitive to motion. This is the most stable area of the ship.

Remedies to bring:

  • Dramamine

  • Bonine

    • Pack different forms of these (tablets, patches, etc.) and use whatever works best for you & test yourself to sensitivities to these at home first

  • Bring ginger or peppermint candies for natural relief

Most guests find that once they’re onboard and busy having fun, they barely notice the motion at all.
