If you’re prone to motion sickness — or just want some extra peace of mind — pack these things:

Cruise selection: Book a newer ship. Modern ship technology keeps improving and does an amazing job at reducing motion so guests feel little to no movement.
Cabin selection: Choose a mid-ship, lower-deck cabin if you're sensitive to motion. This is the most stable area of the ship.
Remedies to bring:
Dramamine
Bonine
Pack different forms of these (tablets, patches, etc.) and use whatever works best for you & test yourself to sensitivities to these at home first
Bring ginger or peppermint candies for natural relief
Most guests find that once they’re onboard and busy having fun, they barely notice the motion at all.
